Navigate Change.
Lead with Confidence. Thrive.

Discover the clarity, confidence and support to shape what comes next.

Introducing Eventum Coaching & Change

I'm Gwen Booth and I work with leaders, business owners, and independent professionals who are navigating growth, change, or are at a crossroads in their work.

Change can feel overwhelming—whether you’re leading a team, running a business, planning your next career chapter, or working independently with clients. Neuroscience shows that while we have inner resources to handle change, our brains are wired for connection. Having someone alongside us—whether as a coach, mentor, or trusted partner—calms stress responses, boosts resilience, and makes navigating uncertainty far easier.

Through tailored coaching, reflective thinking space, and practical tools, I offer constructive challenge and a calm, confidential environment  to step back, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence and an actionable plan.

Together, we’ll strengthen your resilience, redefine what’s possible and build the self-leadership skills you need to achieve the results you seek in today’s fast-changing world.

Ways to Work with Me

I offer a range of professional coaching & change related services tailored to meet the unique needs of leaders, business owners, and independent professionals. From leadership coaching to career transition support, I provide expert guidance and support to help you thrive and grow.

Executive & Leadership Coaching

Executive & Leadership Coaching

  • Leading through organisational change or uncertainty?

  • Struggling to influence stakeholders or make your voice heard?

  • Feeling overwhelmed by competing priorities and pressure?

Leadership can feel isolating—especially when you're navigating change, managing competing demands, or questioning whether you're showing up as the leader you want to be. My executive and leadership coaching creates space for you to gain clarity, rebuild confidence, and lead with greater impact and ease. Together, we focus on developing a grounded, authentic leadership style that works for you—and your team. Who I work with: Current and emerging leaders in SMEs, local government, and the not-for-profit sector—especially those managing growing teams or navigating transition. How we work together: We start by clarifying the outcomes you want to achieve. Most clients engage for six 90-minute sessions, though we can tailor the format to suit your needs (minimum of four 60-minute sessions). What we focus on: • Developing a confident, authentic leadership style • Exploring the mindset and habits that drive or limit your success • Leading through transition, restructuring, or growth • Managing competing priorities without overwhelm • Strengthening resilience, boundaries, and decision-making For an additional investment, clients can also access other tools and assessments. If you are ready to strengthen your leadership, book a free Discovery Call to explore what's possible.

Executive & Leadership Coaching is typically 4-6 sessions.
Leadership Programme for Female Not-for-Profit CEOs & Business Owners

Leadership Programme for Female Not-for-Profit CEOs & Business Owners

  • You’re busy reacting rather than leading intentionally

  • You repeat familiar patterns — people-pleasing, over-giving, second-guessing yourself

  • Your boundaries get blurred & resentment quietly builds

  • You carry the responsibility alone and rarely have space to think

  • You know you’re capable of more — but feel stuck, frustrated, or uncertain about your next chapter

You’re capable, committed, and ambitious — but leading can still feel lonely. As your organisation grows, the demands increase. Decisions carry more weight. The pace is relentless. And somewhere along the way, you may have started to feel disconnected from your clarity, confidence, or sense of direction. You might recognise yourself in some of the above statements. Leading an SME or not-for-profit can be deeply rewarding and deeply isolating. When self-doubt creeps in, confidence wobbles and old habits take over, even for the most accomplished leaders. This programme is designed to change that. This structured, 12-month online leadership programme supports ambitious female CEOs and business owners to: • Reconnect with who they are • Gain absolute clarity on what they want and lead with confidence, calm, and intention It’s not about fixing you — it’s about strengthening your self-leadership so everything else works better. What you’ll gain: While the programme is tailored to you, my clients commonly experience: • Aligned decision-making: Your actions, boundaries, and goals consistently reflect your core values - no more internal conflict or people-pleasing. • Unshakeable self-belief: You quiet the self-doubt, trust your judgement, and lead without constantly seeking external validation. • Confident courage: You set and maintain boundaries, make difficult decisions with integrity, and honour who you truly are as a leader. • Sustainable resilience: You manage your energy, stay grounded under pressure, and create balance without sacrificing ambition. • A powerful, personalised plan: A crystal-clear 12-month roadmap that gives you direction, focus, and momentum across Self, Leadership, Business, and Team. • Progress you can see and evidence: Access to the Curve® platform to track progress, capture learning, and demonstrate return on investment. • A meaningful impact report: A final report summarising your journey — insights gained, progress made, and transformation achieved. • Professional recognition: 25 hours of CPD certification on successful completion of the programme. How it works: You’ll begin by completing a short reflective onboarding process to help you step back from the day-to-day and clarify what really matters. This ensures our time together is focused, personalised, and impactful. Our 1 to 1 work together begins with 4.5 hours of intensive online coaching over an agreed period of time, creating the space to step back, reflect deeply, and design your leadership vision and annual plan. From there, we meet monthly for 60 or 90-minute online sessions to review progress, address real-time challenges, and support your ongoing leadership, business, and personal growth. This is thinking space, accountability, and strategic self-leadership — consistently, over time. If you’re ready to stop leading on autopilot and start leading with clarity, confidence, and purpose, book a free discovery call.

This structured programme is designed as a 12-month engagement.

Career Transition Coaching

Career Transition Coaching

  • Do you feel stuck and wonder if there’s more to work than this?

  • Are you preparing for leadership promotion and wondering if you’re ready?

  • Is retirement approaching and you’re wondering who you’ll be without your work identity?

Career transition coaching is for professionals at a crossroads – whether you’re re-focusing after redundancy, considering a sector move, stepping up to leadership or reshaping your work for the next stage of life. We clarify what you truly want (not what you think you should want), identify your transferrable strengths, and build a practical plan so you can move forward with more confidence and clarity, not just hope. Transition Coaching is completely tailored to meet your needs. We start by clarifying the outcomes you want to achieve, which determines the length and number of sessions - four 60-minute sessions is a typical starting point, though some clients continue for 6-12 months for deeper transformation and sustained support. This isn’t about quick fixes or generic advice. It’s structured space to think clearly about what’s next. Together we will: • Clarify what you want from the next stage of your career (and what you definitely don’t want) • Identify and articulate your transferable skills and strengths – often the ones that you’ve stopped noticing • Explore realistic options and pathways that fit your life, not just your CV • Build a practical plan to move forward with confidence • Strengthen resilience for the uncertainty that comes with change. During our work together, I use a variety of tools and exercises to support your coaching. Some of these come from my work as a Licenced Firework Career Coach. Alternatively, you may choose to invest in the full Firework career transition programme for a structured, fully comprehensive approach.

Career transition coaching usually starts with four 60-minute sessions, though some clients continue for 6-12 months.
Reflective Thinking Space for Coaches & Independent Professionals

Reflective Thinking Space for Coaches & Independent Professionals

  • Do you work independently, lead others through change, or hold emotional complexity in your role?

  • Do you feel you need space and somewhere to reflect, process and recalibrate?

  • Would you benefit from a neutral sounding board for ideas, creativity and clarity?

If you work independently, lead others through change, or hold emotional complexity in your role, you need somewhere to take your own thinking. As a qualified coach supervisor, I offer a confidential thinking space for coaches, independent practitioners, consultants and leaders who need a trusted sounding board. This is a regular space to reflect, process and recalibrate – especially helpful when you can’t always talk openly within your organisation or don’t have peers who truly understand your work. This work includes, but isn’t limited to, formal coach supervision. It’s about protecting your perspective and resilience so you can keep doing your best work. Whether you call it supervision, reflective practice, or simply thinking space – it’s where you bring the work you can’t easily talk about elsewhere. This work can help you to: • Process complex situations and maintain perspective when you’re close to the detail • Strengthen your resilience and boundaries, especially when working with challenging dynamics • Reduce isolation when you work largely on your own or holding senior responsibility • Stay aligned with your values while navigating organisational or client demands • Notice patterns in your work and continue developing your practice. Who is this for? Coaches, mentors, consultants, senior leaders, HR professionals, physical and personal care therapists, and anyone who holds space for others and needs somewhere to process their own experience. Sessions are focused on need and are monthly or at agreed intervals, providing consistent support as your work evolves.

Reflective thinking space is typically monthly or at agreed intervals.

Optional Tools to Deepen your Progress

Where helpful, I integrate professional psychometric assessments and structured programmes into coaching to deepen self-awareness and accelerate development. These tools highlight strengths, stressors and blind spots – and we always follow them with a focused debrief so you leave with insight you can actually use, not just a report.

I’m licensed to offer two structured coaching programmes and a range of professional psychometric tools. Unless specifically mentioned in your chosen programme, these are always optional and only used when they’ll genuinely add value to your goals.

Each programme and assessment involves additional investment and, in the case of assessments, adds 1 -2 sessions to explore the results and integrate insights into your coaching plan. We can discuss what might be useful during our Discovery Call.

Tools and Assessments

The Curve® Programme

A powerful coaching methodology with two key stages: creating  your one-page plan and ongoing accountability coaching to tackle mindset, motivation and help you stay on track.

Stage 1: Your One-Page Plan

Over 3 - 4 intensive coaching sessions you’ll identify your successful outcome for the next 12 months, explore your values, lessons learned, examine limiting beliefs and set annual goals plus your first monthly milestones. You will leave with complementary access (worth £200)  to the Curve® platform to map and track your progress, learning and performance.

Stage 2: Ongoing Accountability Coaching

Monthly or scheduled check-ins throughout the year. Maintaining the discipline of scoring your progress, recording your learning and setting monthly goals is fundamental to achieving your annual results - and this discipline is easier  to sustain with regular support.

Firework Career Transition Programme

A structured programme, typically over 9 to 12 sessions across 4 - 6 months designed for professionals who want to explore options for moving into more meaningful work but are unclear about what this might look like.

Using a three-phase methodology - Explore, Dream, and Discover - you’ll develop a clearer understanding of your values, purpose, strengths, skills, and interests; test out options; and create a concrete action plan to move toward your ideal career scenario.

Psychometric Assessments

I am qualified to assess a range of psychometric tools including:

MBTI Steps I & II

For understanding personality preferences, communication style, and how you show up under pressure.

Hogan Assessments

For leadership development, exploring reputation, values, and derailers

EQ-i (Emotional Intelligence)

For building self-awareness and relational effectiveness

EBW (Emotions & Behaviours at Work)

For understanding emotional drivers and workplace patterns

360 Degree Feedback

Gaining a well-rounded view of your performance through confidential input from managers, peers, direct reports. The report identifies how your behaviour is perceived by others, highlights blind spots, and clarifies strengths and development areas.

All assessments include a detailed report and a focused debrief session to ensure you have clear insights and practical next steps.

Meet Gwen

Change and transition have been at the heart of my work for more than 25 years. I’ve supported large-scale organisational change programmes, guided employees through government-to-private sector transitions, and coached leaders navigating restructures, new teams, sector moves, career changes, including stepping into self-employment or preparing for retirement.

Whether I’m working with a senior leader, a not-for-profit CEO, an ambitious professional at a crossroads, or a business owner shaping their next chapter, my focus is the same: to help them move forward with greater clarity, confidence and purpose.

I don’t just work with transition – I’ve lived it. Early in my business journey, several major life challenges collided at once. Years later the pandemic reshaped my work almost overnight. These were moments where familiar structures fell away and I had to rebuild, adapt and rethink what success looked like.

Those experiences taught me first-hand how unsettling change can be. Yet, I also learned something invaluable: the power of mindset and the importance of resilience in creating lasting change. I learned to lean into the discomfort, to pause, reflect, strengthen my self-awareness and take consistent, intentional steps forward – even when things felt uncertain and a bit scary. I learned the value of asking for support (not easy for me!), challenging my own thinking, and allowing my progress to be imperfect.

These experiences and lessons have shaped the coach I am today. They enable me to meet clients with empathy, to sit uncomfortably with uncertainty, and to help them recognise their unhelpful patterns – self-doubt, perfectionism, disrespecting their own boundaries, ignoring their needs – that can hold brilliant people back.

Today I combine that lived experience with my professional training in coaching, resilience practice and applied neuroscience. I work with structured, evidence-based approaches, including the award-winning Curve® methodology and a suite of psychometric tools, to help clients challenge limiting beliefs, strengthen their self-awareness and step into more confident, authentic leadership.

What inspires me most is that moment when a client realises, they have choice: that things don’t have to stay as they are, and that with the right support, they can shape a new direction. Supporting people to turn their insights into meaningful and lasting change is what truly motivates my work.

I am an independent coach with over 3,300 hours of delivered coaching, a qualified Coach Supervisor, Executive & Leadership Coach, accredited Resilience practitioner and licenced Firework Career Coach.

"Over the years in my role, I have had support from other coaches but recognised that I really need the stretch now to succeed in the next part of my leadership journey. Gwen was recommended to me by a colleague. I knew from my first meeting with her that she would support and push me to where I wanted to be. FAQs

General FAQ's

Q: How do I know if coaching is right for me? A: Coaching is most effective when you're ready for change and committed to taking action. If you're facing a specific leadership challenge, feeling stuck in your career, or wanting to grow your impact but unsure how to start, coaching provides the clarity, structure, and support to move forward. During our initial discovery call, we'll explore whether coaching aligns with what you need right now.

Q: Are sessions in-person or online? A: All coaching sessions are delivered online, giving you flexibility and eliminating travel time. This approach works particularly well for busy leaders juggling multiple priorities.

Q: What happens in a discovery call? A: A discovery call is a no-obligation conversation where we explore your current situation, what you're hoping to achieve, and whether coaching is the right fit. We'll discuss which type of coaching or programme best suits your needs, and I'll answer any questions you have about the process, investment, and what to expect.

Executive & Leadership Coaching

Q: I'm not a senior executive – is this coaching still for me? A: Absolutely. I work with emerging leaders as well as established ones, including SME business owners with growing businesses and leaders in local government and not-for-profit sectors. If you're leading people, navigating change, or stepping into greater responsibility, this coaching supports your development.

Q: Can coaching help with imposter syndrome or self-doubt? A: Yes. Exploring mindset and the habits that drive or limit your success is a common focus area. Many leaders struggle with self-doubt, especially during transition or growth. Coaching provides space to examine these patterns, build confidence, and develop a leadership style that feels genuinely authentic to you.

Leadership Programme for Female Not-for-Profit CEOs & Business Owners

Q: Why is this programme specifically for women? A: Female leaders in these roles often face unique pressures and can feel isolated in their decision-making. This programme recognises both the strategic leadership challenges and the emotional dimensions of leading in high-pressure environments. It provides a confidential, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and less alone. If you’re not a female but are interested in the programme, then let’s talk.

Q: What does CPD-certified mean for me? A: The programme is CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certified, meaning you'll earn recognised professional development points upon completion, subject to completing your monthly plans and learning logs. You'll also receive an Impact Report summarising your journey and progress – tangible evidence of your development.

Q: I'm already overwhelmed – how will I find time for this? A: That's exactly why clarity and structure matter. The programme is designed to reduce overwhelm by helping you focus on what truly matters. Monthly 60- or 90-minute sessions are manageable, and the Curve® platform helps you stay focused without adding unnecessary complexity to your already full workload.

Q: What if my priorities change during the programme? A: That's normal, especially when leading growth or change. The programme combines structure with flexibility precisely for this reason. Your One Page Plan provides direction, but we adapt our monthly focus to address what's most pressing for you and your organisation as circumstances evolve.

Reflective Thinking Space for Coaches and Independent Professionals

Q: What's the difference between supervision and coaching? A: Whether you call it supervision, reflective practice, or simply thinking space – it's where you bring the work you can't easily talk about elsewhere. Unlike coaching which focuses on your goals and development, this space is primarily about processing your client work, maintaining perspective, and strengthening your practice. That said, the boundaries can be fluid depending on what you need.

Q: How often should I have reflective thinking space sessions? A: Sessions are typically monthly or at agreed intervals, providing consistent support as your work evolves. The frequency depends on your needs – some practitioners need regular monthly check-ins, while others prefer flexibility to schedule sessions when specific situations arise that need processing.

Q: What might I bring to reflective thinking space? A: Common topics include processing complex client situations, maintaining perspective when you're close to the detail, strengthening resilience and boundaries especially with challenging dynamics, reducing isolation when working on your own, staying aligned with your values while navigating organisational or client demands, and noticing patterns in your work to continue developing your practice.

Q: Is this confidential if I'm discussing client work? A: Absolutely. Confidentiality is fundamental. This is a trusted, confidential environment where you can speak openly about situations you're navigating, knowing the conversation stays between us. This allows you to process honestly without concern about judgment or breach of trust.

Career Transition Coaching

Q: I've been made redundant – is now the right time for coaching? A: Yes. Career transition coaching helps you move through redundancy with purpose rather than panic. We'll clarify what you truly want next (not what you think you should want), identify your transferable strengths, and build a practical plan so you approach opportunities with confidence and clarity, not just hope.

Q: I'm not sure what I want to do next – can coaching help with that? A: Absolutely. Feeling stuck or uncertain is common at career crossroads. This isn't about quick fixes or generic advice – it's structured space to think clearly about what's next. Through our work together, we'll explore what matters to you now, identify strengths you've perhaps stopped noticing, and clarify realistic options that fit your life, not just your CV.

Q: I'm preparing for a leadership promotion – how is career transition coaching relevant? A: Stepping up to leadership is a significant transition, often raising questions about readiness, capability, and whether it's truly what you want. Coaching provides space to explore these questions honestly, strengthen your confidence, and prepare practically for the demands of the role before you're in it.
